Kid Rock proved that he is the American Badass when he took the Grandstand Stage at the New York State Fair on Monday night! There was no-one that could resist his beats – rock, rap, country – he played it all!

Kickin’ off the night with “Devil Without A Cause” – Kid Rock show have definitely gone platinum! As a white curtain was hung, the crowd was on the edge of their seats for the show to begin. A bright spotlight shown from behind the curtain, casting a larger than life “Kid Rock” out line as he began the song’s intro. The curtain fell and in classic Arena Rock style, huge pyros went off and the show was off with a sea of the fist in the air!

He went on to play classic Kid Rock Songs like “Wasting Time,” “American Badass,” “Cowboy” and “Only God Knows Why.” While playing newer tunes like “Rock Bottom Blues,” “All Summer Long” and “Born Free.” His set list was packed with hit after hit before closing out with “Bawitdaba”

One thing is sure, Kid Rock puts on one crazy energetic and entertaining show! If your lucky to be in the wake of the few remaining dates of this tour, you should do yourself a favor and get out to the show!!

Opening up the show was country rapper Big Smo. You may recognize The “Boss of the Stix” from the A&E original reality tv series “Big Smo” that just premiered in the summer 2014.

Moving beyond the reality tv personality and on to his music – Big Smo can raise a crowd. He takes you back to those classic rap roots of artist like Run DMC, with a more soulful sounding voice of like Tone Loc, mixed in with his country flare in lyrics and style. He has very catching beats that you can easily find yourself singing along. It’s no surprise that his debut album “Kuntry Livin’” broke into the top 10 on both Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and Billboard’s Rap Chart for nine straight weeks.

Watch for Big Smo to come to your town – as he is on tour now until Decemeber 2014.

Over all, this was really a great match up of artist and an amazing talented and entertaining show! Thanks New York State Fair for bringing in such a wonderful show to the Grandstand!
