We have brought back our Throwback Thursday!!

Today we revisited seeing Behemoth on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival on August 8, 2009 in Hartford, CT. We had seen and interviewed Behemoth several times before, but this was the first time seeing them in the middle the day, at an outdoor festival. Like so many times before, they came out and took command of the stage, showing all in attendance what extreme metal is all about!

At this time, Behemoth was days away from releasing their ninth full-length album, “Evangelion.” They shared the stage that day with Cannibal Corpse, Trivium, All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Bullet For My Valentine with Marilyn Manson and Slayer headlining the festival.

For an extra special touch to this TBT, Nadine of Musician Photo Journal caught up with Nergal (Behemoth’s vocalist) later that day for a quick interview. You can see their conversation below.
