The legendary Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein pulled into town with his solo band – Doyle – for an up-close and personal show at the Lost Horizon in Syracuse NY.

You know him as the iconic guitarist of the Misfits! Now Doyle takes on the music scene with his new band Doyle – featuring vocalist Alex Story (Cancerslug), Drummer Anthony Biuso (ex-TSOL, The Dickies, HedPE), bassist Dietrich Thrall and of course Doyle on guitar.

Out in support of Doyle’s debut album, “Abominator” – They bring it back old school in the small clubs to give both Doyle and Misfit fans alike an up close and personal show that will be one to remember. While playing many songs off the “Abominator” album, there were several Misfit tunes thrown in for good measure! Be sure to check out all the great photos from the show (gallery link below).

While no new tour dates have been announced, Doyle re-assures us that we have not seen the last of them!!! Be sure to add them to your current social media sites to keep an eye/ear out for them to return to your neck of the woods!!! (Links below).

We had the opportunity to sit down with Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and Alex Story just before the show (Interview coming soon), where they talk about the recording process of “Abominator,” which was released in July 2013, and what is in the near future for Album #2 plus much more.

In other news – Ever think that Doyle’s icon look should be a comic book/cartoon character? He is!!! The comic book character is part of Alan Robert’s (Life of Agony) KILLOGY series. And the cartoon is now on it’s way. Check out the trailer below:
