Cinderella shook the crowd “all night long” this past Wednesday night at the Turning Stone Casino in Vernon NY.  Led by frontman, Tom Keifer on vocals, Eric Brittingham on bass, Jeff LaBar on guitar and Fred Coury on drums, it brings you right back to the 1980’s with their classic guitar flipping antics and fun party rock vibes. You could almost smell the Aqua Net in the air and see visions of those zebra print spandex pants which back then were all the rage! Joining them on stage was Gary Corbett on keyboards. A full-time touring member of Cinderella, Corbett has also toured with Kiss, Lou Gramm, and has worked with Bob Marley’s sons and also co-wrote “She Bop” with Ms. Cyndi Lauper.

A Cinderella show really bring you back in time, as they play so many of the hits we all know and love like “Gypsy Rose,” “Shake Me,”  “Night Songs,” “The More Things Change,” “Nobody’s Fool,” etc. while bringing back those classic Cinderella sense of style – top hats, double neck guitars, that classic purple stage lights

and the flipping of the guitars over the shoulder as only those guys can do. Musically, they are still right on top of their game; just as solid as I remember them back in the day. Keifer’s vocals were strong and the band was like your favorite pair of jeans – tight, slick and emphasizing all the right parts in a smooth and familiar manner. The crowd was yelling out the songs they wanted to hear in between songs and everyone was dancing and really just having a great time as it should be. It’s fun to see the next generation that grew up listening to their parent’s albums also at the show.
