BILE – Utica NY

Deep in the industrial grime of NYC, the legendary agro-tech metal project known as BILE has risen with evil and rage and return to the stage for only 4 shows with their classic line-up:  R.H. Bear on bass, “Devyl” Dave Sussman on guitar, John “Servo” DeSalvo (KMFDM, Chemlab) on drums and on vocals the one and only KRZTOFF (Pigface).

Dwelling in the shadows of the deep underground scene, Bile brings to the stage a show like no other as they perform songs that covers their 18year career. Live, you can always count on them to set the mood with extreme lighting conditions, mind altering blast from strobes and the thickest of fog that continues to pouring out of the fog machines the whole night long. It truly is the perfect atmosphere for a Bile night of pounding beats on the dance floor of hell.

I remember the first time I saw Bile, the fog in the club was so thick, it set off the fire alarms and they weren’t even through their first song. This time around was no different. The fog filled the room and the crowd was ready from the get go.

Some of you may recall BILE from their cameo in the horror movie, “Strangeland” or remember them from the “Mortal Kombat” Soundtrack. More recently, Bile released a brand new song for Christmas (2011) and posted on their website as a present to their fans. You can also hear their latest album, “Hate Radio” and the rest of their catalog on their site.

Bile was out a mini 4 day tour hitting Chicago IL, Toledo OH, NYC and Utica, NY. I’m sure we have not heard the last of this legendary band. Let’s hope a new album and another tour is in store soon.
