INTERVIEW: Tom Maxwell – HELLYEAH

Musician Photo Journal sat down with Tom Maxwell of HellYeah before their performance at the UpRoar Tour in Darien, New York. HellYeah is a “super groups” made up of Tom Maxwell (Nothingface), Vinnie Paul (Panter/Damage Plan), Chad Gray (Mudvayne), Greg Tribbett (Mudvayne) and Bob Zilla (DamagePlan). The band formed with the intent to be a side group that was just for fun. However it quickly grew into something much more and the band decided to take it more serious. Soon after the release of their self-titled debut album (2007), HellYeah took to the main stage of the Family Values tour. From there they continued to tour with Korn until they went out on their own headlining tours. Their debut album was on fire, getting radio play and raced up the charts.

HellYeah just released their second studio album, “Stampede” on Epic Records on July 13, 2010. They released a teaser video “Cowboy’s Way” to get the fans pumped and released their first official single “Hell Of A Time” in June 2010. Check out the videos below:
