Interview – Jesse James Dupree of JACKYL

In the early 1990’s, Jackyl first hit the hard rock music scene heavy and loud. They released their self-titled debut album on Geffen Records in 1992. The album included “The Lumberjack” and “Down On Me” which featured vocalist, Jesse James Dupree’s chainsaw solo. That was only the prelude to what was to come.

Jumping 18years later, Jackyl gears up to release their 10th album entitled “When Moonshine and Dynamite Collide” on May 4, 2010. Musician Photo Journal had the pleasure of sit down and discus the new album, as well as some of Jackyl’s many accomplishments with Jesse James Dupree when he was in NYC.
